The Story:
On a giant space station, in a small section of what could be considered a science area, a small light burst forth in the darkness. It began to cut a small hole in the plate wall of the space station, starting a swirling vortex of air escaping the room. A dark figure floats toward a supply cabinet and upon opening it sees their target - a glowing orb, about the size of a baseball, which alternately pulses and swirls. The newly created enteramin passes into the hands of who knows who....
Tony Timeless relaxed in his comfy arm chair. It barely supports his weight because the mechanical parts of his body are made out of super-dense alloy and have increased his weight nearly 3 times! A blinking light appears in the corner of his vision, and he notes it and answers the call.
Prescient Malon: "Hi Tony."
Tony: Hi Malon. What can I do for you? Anything that can take me away from the boredom of reviewing my article for Gumshoe Quarterly?
Malon: Actually, yes, we have a wonderful opportunity for you to see the newest technology in the galaxy.
